My Project

Hello! My name is Ms. Pritchett, and I am a first year teacher at a title one school. I teach 6th grade social studies and I love it! I am asking for classroom materials and decorations to help make my classroom a place students want to come into and learn in. Many of my students have home situations that make it incredibly hard for them to feel safe and ready to learn at school.

I am asking for various supplies to help with on one instruction, group instructions, project materials, and executive functioning skills.

These materials will help them learn executive functioning skills (how to make a to-do list, how to keep track of assignments, and how to organize their work), feel safe in my room, and help them show what they know in different ways.

There is something so special about my group of students, because even though their lives outside of school are full of adversity, they still want to come to school, put their best foot forward, and be successful. I am asking for your help to make this a reality for them. Many of them will tell me how they want to do the best they can but often feel like their life situations won't allow that for them.

I want to provide a space and the materials they need to help them achieve these goals. Thank you!!
