My Students
The teachers at my school work to provide a positive and welcoming environment for our students despite their troubling home lives.
Each and every one of my students has unique abilities that they add to our wonderful classroom environment.
We are able to highlight these through different activities and experiences in our classroom. All 20 of my students also have unique needs to help them best access the knowledge they need to know!
I am striving to make my classroom a warm environment to welcome them and encourage them to learn and grow.
My Project
History is one of the best subjects to teach, but unfortunately our curriculum doesn't allow too much time for this instruction. In order to allow my students the opportunity to learn about important events in United States History, I recommended Nathan Hale's books! They have flown through the limited selection in the library and are begging for more.
This addition to our classroom library will be the most exciting addition this year!
I have also added the editing flip-books to help my students with their writing! This will allow them to be more independent in the writing process and to better learn the skill of editing!
