it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the future of our community. They are in the transition period of middle school full of ideas, hopes, and eager to be part of this world while dealing with many challenges in addition to their individual special needs.
My Project
Seeing how many other classrooms help their students maintain focus on learning using their headphones, has inspired me to provide the same opportunity to my students. Stories and information come to live when students are able to learn through various multimedia platforms. Additionally, many of my students have learning disabilities and read-aloud formats help with comprehension. If I am able to receive the donations of headphones, more students will be able to benefit from our current technology without noisy distractions from the classroom. Their vocabulary and comprehension of text will increase and their motivation to keep learning will grow.
