Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need pictures and AAC devices (iPads with special applications) in order to communicate with others. Therefore, they are in need of screen protectors for their iPads, straps to carry their devices, laminating pouches to make communication books, and scissors to help with assembly.
The screen protectors, laminating sheets, and device straps will be used to create and protect their "voices".
Because the iPads are used for communication, they are brought EVERYWHERE with my students. The straps will be used to help the students carry their devices throughout the day and the screen protectors will be used to protect the iPad. The laminating sheets and spring scissors will be used to assemble communication books. Please help give our students essential materials to communicate with others!
