Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flag football is growing fast, and our students are ready to take it to the next level! Right now, we’re a club, but with the right equipment we can build momentum, increase visibility, and push for girls’ flag football to become a full sport at our high school.
Many of our students are stepping onto the field for the first time, and having the right tools ensures they develop skills, confidence, and a love for the sport.
The items we’re requesting will make a huge difference. Flagwinders keep our practices organized and efficient, helping new players learn the game faster.
Our goal? To grow this program from a club into a recognized sport. More visibility means more opportunities for girls to compete, represent our school, and open doors for future athletes. Most of them have never played before—but they’re ready to learn, work hard, and prove that girls’ flag football belongs at the high school level. With your help, we can give them the tools they need to succeed and make this sport a permanent part of our school’s athletic program!
