This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a low-income community where many of my students haven’t been exposed to many experiences. When they come to school they start learning, seeing, touching, so many things for the first time. Me, as a teacher, buy most of the materials for them to use and do the activities in the curriculum. As well as many of the toys, such as the career costume set, and learning games, like the alphabet learning locks, we have in the classroom. It would be of great help to get more and new ones to replace the old ones we have had for years. Thanks so much.
