This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our band is in need of an audio mixer to step up our performances. Most musical performances require the use of an audio mixer to be able to send vocal and instrument sounds over speakers so everyone in the audience can hear. Marching bands use audio mixers to amplify mallet instruments which struggle to be heard over brass and other percussion instruments. Students also gain skills in working with sound equipment which can carry over into a career.
My goal for this project is to be able to provide a professional level mixer for our music program to use in the majority of our performances.
Having amplified sound makes the students sound that much better because everyone can hear them.
Our students are a great group of respectful, kind people. The community is growing fast, and funding has not kept up with the growth. Our kids work hard and are eager to excel and your donation will help them on their path to success. Thank you!
