My Project
The Boltz community was hit hard by COVID, but one place that many may not have seen the damage is in the musical arts. Enrollment by students is down for all of our musical groups, students spent almost two years playing musical virtually and at large distances from each other to mitigate risk of transmission. When students did come back in full, many were quite a bit behind in curriculum and in maturity. Many parents lost jobs or income and couldn't afford to pay for supplies for students to participate in music.
Please help us to bring back music!
The materials I have requested are books and supplies that students would normally pay for themselves, but many cannot make that purchase. Method books help students to play scales and develop technique on their instrument. Reeds are consumables that many students just cannot afford, and I have been providing them for needy kids. Percussion sticks and mallets are necessary for students to play their instruments. By helping us with the cost of these materials, you are easing many students' budgets and giving them a chance to enjoy music without the worry of the cost. Thanks so much for your consideration!
