This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students, that are from a Title 1 school, are struggling with organizing themselves, as well as their emotions. With these resources, my students will prepare themselves for high school by receiving specific instruction on how to organize materials, and they will be able to have a toolbox of strategies on how to regulate their emotions when they struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, and social-emotional challenges. This will greatly improve their chances of graduating high school and progressing towards college. My goal is to help students with their total well being.
