Help Support Students With Autism!

Help me give my students a speaker, Roomba, and hands on materials to help support their needs.

My Students

The students I teach are in a special education class for students with Autism. The students have unique needs and struggle daily with significant communication and learning needs. They work every day on their life skills, daily living skills, and communication. I work with them on communicating verbally and through communication devices.

Children who have autism also have difficulties with communication, learning, social interaction, and imaginative play.

I would like to provide them with various tools to help them with these challenges. The students work very hard on a daily basis and any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

My Project

I would like to provide our students with a JBL speaker, Roomba vac, and bean bag chairs. Students with autism need a constant comfortable place to work. The bean bag chairs will provide the comfortable place to sit and read. The Roomba will clean up the crumbs on the floor after the students have eaten their food. The JBL speaker will be used to provide music and calming sounds for the students during the day.

These items will have a positive impact on student learning and create a calm and comfortable learning environment for the students with autism.
