My Project
I would like to provide my students with a sensory blackout tent, wireless plug in remotes, and heartbeat dogs. Students with autism need sensory things like tents to help them focus, remain calm, and help with their sensory needs. I would also like plugs with remotes to help the students easily turn on sensory items without having to plug them in. The heartbeat stuffed anomals will provide the students with the calming sensory feedback they require.
The sensory tend will help our students by providing them with the sensory input they need to learn.
A lot of our students are non-verbal and will benefit from having these activities to use to focus on activities and remain on task.
