Help me give my students the supplies they need to be successful. These items will help with reading and writing specifically. We use highlighters every day to determine specific skills when reading text.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an amazing group of learners, have a desire to learn and want to succeed and grow. They are second language learners and use highlighters throughout the day to identify words, phrases, main ideas, reasons and evidence. In writing they use them to identify a good topic sentence, a hook in a paragraph, topic sentences and details. They use them for the various parts of speech when learning to write a good sentence. In reading they use them to identify main ideas, or reasons and evidence. Thank you!
