Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching a new grade level this year, 3rd grade, and I need help building leveled resources to support the standards. Learning through play is important in my class. I have requested some collaborative games to pillar multiplication and division. In addition, the fraction tiles will be a great kinesthetic math tool. This year, I would like to offer my students flexible seating options; the scoop chairs would be great for the library, and the balance balls for the group center table. I was inspired by the Contemporary Art Start (CAS) training at the Museum of Contemporary Art, and I have requested a few art supplies to support some lessons. The charging unit will ensure student Chromebooks are charged, and the document scanner will help upload students' work more easily into our learning platform, Skies Learn.
