Help Students with Social and Emotional Needs

Help me give my students fidgets and a trampoline that will help them regulate their emotions and energy in my classroom. I am a certified counselor and I also am a focus zone ( calming room ) Teacher.

My Project

I am a school counselor and I am also the focus zone (calming room) teacher where students can come to calm down and regulate themselves if they are having a stressful day or have been through trauma.

COVID-19 has severely impacted the mental health of our students.

I have seen an increase in mental health issues like anger, anxiety, sadness, ADHD, and depression. Students from every grade (K -8), love coming to my room and talking to me. They also enjoy using all my calming activities and items like fidgets.

Many of my students also desire to do physical activities like jump rope, hula-hoop and playing catch.

I recently observed another focus zone and they had an individual trampoline that the students loved to use and seemed to helped them regulate their energy/emotions. My students and I would be grateful for any help you could give us with obtaining additional fidgets and a trampoline.
