This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are starting a new year in a brand new classroom and need some help.
The students are special education students in a self contained classroom.
These are students that are eager to learn but need some supplies to make this learning more accessible. The students attend an inner city public school and face many challenges in their daily lives.
My Project
The chair pockets will be used to help keep the students organized because they have tables instead of desks, resulting in nowhere to keep their materials. The computer paper will allow the students to print pictures for projects. It will also allow them to print essays and assignments. The dry erase markers will allow the students to participate in quick math drills. The magnetic passes will make leaving the classroom easier.
Donations towards this project will help some truly great students with special needs.
The requested items will help the students maintain organization and will also enhance their quest to learn throughout the year.
