Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, headphones are essential tools that help create a focused and personalized learning environment. Many of my students rely on online programs and activities to develop their listening and speaking skills in Spanish, but without access to their own headphones, they struggle to concentrate or participate fully.
With these headphones, dry erase supplies, laminating pouches, and materials, each student can work independently, practice pronunciation, and engage in listening comprehension activities without distractions.
This will not only support language development, but, also boost their confidence and overall engagement in class. Having reliable headphones ensures equity—every student gets the chance to hear clearly, participate meaningfully, and grow as a learner.
