My Project
My students are well prepared with academics and skills and have solid career goals. However, they lack a professional way to present their career portfolios to employers when seeking jobs.
Having professional looking portfolios will help students feel confident when entering the job search process (we have an annual
hiring fair and lots of business partner visits).
The current 3 prong folders being used due to low funds are just not creating the confidence needed for students to find success.As we know, confidence is a huge factor in hiring and I want my students to have every opportunity to obtain jobs they have prepared for at our college and career academy.
I am a part of the Chevron Fab Lab Outreach Program and GA AIM.
