Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students love to create things that are from their imagination. With the Chompsaw students can draw a picture and then use it as a template to cut their project out of cardboard. They could create cardboard gears, 3-D animals, houses, and more!

My goal is to have students create projects with moving parts, or 3D elements.

Learning about 3D space and creating 3D objects helps students learn how to solve problems, think creatively and understand real world problems. Creating parts that move on a project can help students understand physical concepts and mechanics. I am excited to try using the Chompsaw with my students.
