Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Research has shown exploration through STEM activities foster curiosity, inquiry and play. It helps students make connections, use critical thinking, and builds a strong foundation for math and science.
These STEM kits will provide my students with opportunities to use their problem solving skills, which will lead to excitement in their learning.
I hope to be able to use these materials in small groups and centers. Kids learn better through play, hands on experiences and working cooperatively with others. These materials will help provide my students with authentic learning experiences while encouraging and producing little engineers!
