My Project

Here at Dallas Elementary, many of our students do not have the opportunities to experience technology at home. It has become my goal to introduce them to as many coding and technology experiences as possible! Our STEM teacher and I dream of starting a robotics club at our school.

Students would gain the experience of building and coding a real robot with these LEGO Education Spike kits!

With this experience, students would work all year to prepare for our district robotics competition! They would be so excited and confident knowing they have the same knowledge as the other more affluent schools in our district. Our students work so hard and deserve every opportunity to code and learn essential technology skills that will last a lifetime!

In addition to this, these Spike kits can be used with the whole school through our STEM specials class. These kits would help so many students find the love and excitement of coding and engineering. The kits can be used over and over again to help so many future STEM leaders!
