Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting bracelets, stickers, anti-bullying pencils and small treats for students to showing their solidarity and to help end bullying and cyberbullying. I want our students to learn the impact of bullying on their mental, physical and emotional heath. I want to encourage students to support, accept, and show unity and kindness!

Our students face daily challenges and struggles in their community and home life which significantly impacts their academic success.

Our school has become a safe space for them to express themselves, support each other and encourage individuality. In an effort to support Unity Day and National Bullying Prevention Day, we are educating and promoting unity amongst our students through tabling events, daily announcements, workshops and pledges! I plan to use the stickers, small treats, anti-bullying pencils and other resources as incentives for students who take the pledge to be bully-free!
