This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our student lead, teacher supported, Cares Club is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive school environment. These journals, sensory items, stickers, and pins will allow us to draw attention to our initiative and involve students in building a school family.
Our large, diverse, NYC high school is embarking on a mission to help spread kindness and Social Emotional Learning.
We aim to reduce the stigma around mental health care and build awareness and acceptance of the differences among us. Please help support this valuable initiative. Our students would greatly benefit from the support our small club can provide.
