My Students
My students are special needs and studies hard to find success. They are willing to do what it takes to help them build their academics. I've been teaching for over 20 years and never had such a group of students who want to learn.
My students are awesome and enjoy the opportunities to seek knowledge on their own.
Our school builds on inquiry based learning, which teaches students to learn how to seek knowledge on their own, rather than through a teacher lecturing to them.
They enjoy the challenge that inquiry base offers and I am excited to see them again, and begin the learning with the tools to help them grow more than last year. Our motto is, "To learn more tomorrow than we know today."
My Project
When my special needs students have the tools they need they are more likely to want to learn, learning becomes fun! My students need to learn how to solve for algebra, which they struggle because of inadequate calculators.
These calculators can help my students with solving multiple step equations and their geometry studies.
My students also struggle with the basics like fractions, which these calculators will help them with, as well. These calculators can help my students learn higher level math skills without the frustrations and time consumption of simple calculation.
By having these calculators, my students will have the tools to assist them in learning higher level math, which will be expected from them when they go to high school.
Just as important these calculators will help them build their confidence in math skills and want them to reach higher in their academic goals.
