Help Special Education Military Families Achieve Academic Success

My Project

I am requesting basic materials for all my students so they can succeed in school. I want to give my students the best opportunity to learn by giving them the essentials they need to succeed. Having crayons, highlighters, spiral notebooks, student planners, color pencils , glue, markers, and scissors will make a huge impact for each child.

Each one of the materials will be used on a daily basis in all academic needs.

Focusing on reading, writing, and math as well as social and emotional skills.

Since I work with students with special needs I want to make sure we have all the supplies they need in order to access common core curriculum. Each of these items - pencils, colored pencils, scissors, highlighters, notebooks and more - will help my students to learn and understand difficult concepts by using multiple strategies and accommodations, which these supplies provide them with.

I love seeing their happy faces when I hand out items to them. They feel special and proud of the work they have accomplished. They rise to the expectations that is set for them even though it can be very challenging for them. It’s is awesome to see the achievements and the satisfaction they feel as they meet their goals.
