Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of some basic materials to start the year strong! A new Apple TV will help me teach without having to worry about projector wires while circulating the classroom and giving timely feedback. I’ve also included differentiated seating options and stamps to create a more joyful and inclusive environment for all types of learners.
Our students depend on us to provide basic needs due to their low SES.
One hundred percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunches and we all know how far a little snack goes to keep the learning going. Sixth grade is also a major milestone in cognitive and bodily changes, meaning that we teachers are their number one support in helping our students learn how to properly take care of themselves.
All of the listed materials will greatly impact the learning that happens in my classroom. Thank you!
