Help me give my students Covid-free opportunities to work and play. They need individual headphones, a place to store them, and a charging station for their iPads. Then they need "fun" opportunities to problem solve and read.
Spring City is a small rural town in the heart of Utah. Many students come from low-income families and opportunities are quite limited because of money and/or distance. Providing enriching experiences and materials are important to help students gain a top-quality education.
My Project
The headphones will ensure each student has their own pair to use during the year that is free of contamination. The storage units will keep them organized and safe. The charging stations will keep cords and iPads ready for classroom/student work. Many programs we use help promote student literacy, math application, and problem-solving.
Problem Solving is a HUGE area of concern.
The Q-Bitz games will allow students the opportunity to practice problem-solving. There will be enough boards for each student to use while others are being sanitized.
The Piggie Books will promote reading for those reluctant readers. A definite must!
