Help Seniors Crush Senioritis and Pass Government!
Help me give my students snacks, supplies, and a portable wireless printer to keep them motivated, organized, and engaged in their final stretch of high school as they work to pass Government class and graduate on time.

My Project
My seniors are standing on the edge of adulthood, and I want their last high school class to feel meaningful, motivating, and worth showing up for every day. What I love most about these students is their honesty, humor, and resilience. They’re in their final semester, excited about graduation but also facing the all-too-real challenge of “senioritis,” half-day schedules, and the strong urge to just be done. Even with these distractions, many keep showing up, and I want to give them every reason to stay motivated and succeed in this final required course: Government.
Every item in this project is chosen with one clear goal — to keep my seniors engaged, energized, and confidently moving toward graduation.
These materials support both their learning and the classroom environment.
Markers, highlighters, sticky notes, and organizing bins will help students collaborate, brainstorm, and stay organized — especially for those who don’t attend every day. Snacks, pencils, stickers, and other incentives will boost morale, encourage participation, and reward positive habits like attendance and effort. Civic-themed posters and cozy string lights will transform the classroom into a space where students actually want to be — not just a room they have to pass through. The portable printer will allow me to quickly print handouts, feedback, and materials on the spot, so no one falls behind when schedules change.
Plus, government posters and resources highlighting BIPOC leaders bring diversity into our lessons, helping students see themselves reflected in the history and government systems they’re studying.
With your support, we’ll turn our classroom into a welcoming, motivating space — giving these seniors the final push they need to walk across that stage prepared, proud, and empowered.
