Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with transitional kindergartners through fifth grade students. My students are a group of awesome individuals, who try their best in everything they do. They enjoy learning and come to school with a big smile on their face. I enjoy working with my students and helping them to be the best they can be. At our school we ROAR because we are Responsible learners, Own our action, Act with kindness, and we Remember to be a friend each and every day.
The bulletin paper will help keep my instructional materials and visual aids legible and engaging for students.
I also plan to make a bulletin board to focus on the lunar new year. I also added some books and posters to read to my students about the lunar new year.
The large letter stickers will be used for labeling specific classroom areas. The borders will frame bulletin boards and displays, creating an inviting look to my classroom space. It will visually organize and separate information for clarity. It will also create a themed and cohesive classroom atmosphere. The phonics cards will provide visual and tactile tools to teach foundational literacy skills. The speech therapy posters will visually support language development and articulation goals in both individual and group settings. It will help students understand concepts like tongue placement, sound production, and conversational cues. It will provide visual reinforcement for auditory instructions, aiding comprehension.
These materials will create a visually appealing, organized, and student-centered classroom. It will support diverse learning needs, enhance instruction, and save time by ensuring durable and effective tools are readily available.
