My Students
My students are part of a gifted and talented city-wide school. We are a growing school in our fifth year. My students' daily lives are grounded in inquiry and project-based work. As a growing school, especially this year during blended learning, we are adding to our technology resources in order to provide all students with the access they need to acquire real-world skills and knowledge, especially during this time of remote learning. We believe that access to technology will help students be the best learners they can be, both now and as they prepare for the future.

My Project
Students in our growing gifted and talented school need access to technology to access information about the world. Our inquiry-based curriculum requires that students engage in regular research to collect and analyze data. In order to do this efficiently, we need more iPads for our students. We need iPads so students can use programs such as Desmos to graph online, Google Docs to collaborate with classmates, and Scratch and Python to code.
Our students are the future, and technology will help them be the best leaders they can be!
My students are gifted and talented elementary and middle school students. Our school is located in Queens and students come from all over New York City to attend. In the 2018 - 2019 school year, our school will finally be at capacity and our middle school will be home to our 5th - 8th-grade students.
We believe that access to technology will help students be the best learners they can be, both now and as they prepare for the future.
