My Project

The performing arts high school where I teach is a place where creativity flourishes and dreams take flight. However, the resources available to these young artists often fall short of their needs. I am appealing to the generosity of the DonorsChoose community to help bridge that gap.

Imagine a student, buzzing with the energy of a dance rehearsal, needing a healthy snack to sustain them through a long afternoon of choreography.

Picture another, trying to concentrate on their script analysis amidst the lively buzz of the classroom, desperately needing noise-canceling headphones to block out distractions and find their focus. Envision a group collaborating on a set design, their creative flow halted by a lack of working dry erase markers. These might seem like simple items, but they are essential tools for success, allowing our students to fully engage with their learning.
