My Project
Hello! My name is Angelina and I am a teacher at LICHS! I teach English and English as a New Language to English Language Learners who are new to our country. I am also a first year teacher who is trying her best every day to be that constant person in these students' lives by supporting them both academically and emotionally.
86% of the students at my school are economically disadvantaged.
Students sometimes miss class due to a variety of reasons (work, sickness, family responsibility) and my goal for this project is to create a system where students can easily catch up on work they have missed and portfolios in which they can see their progress! When a student is absent, they will know exactly where to go to find the materials for lessons that they need to catch up on to ensure their academic success and will have the organization to support them in their studying.
