Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from extremely diverse backgrounds where Covid has impacted each of them in a different way. However they all have one thing in common. They all need small group instruction time. We will be using these math and ELA materials in small groups to address each students individual needs.
By using play dough the students get practice with their fine motor skills.
Combining this with creating the letters will increase the chance they remember letters.
I love to laminate the activities so the kids can reuse them and we can get plenty of life out of the materials generous donors provide to us!
Since Covid was a global phenomenon many students have learning gaps that have occurred in the last three years.
By donating to our project you will be helping provide a more individualized education for each student in our classroom.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
