My math students are a diverse group of 6th graders living in Cleveland. Many students do not have the means to buy basic school supplies. Many of the students are just returning back to in person school after a year of online learning. Some students returned last school briefly.
Students are excited and nervous to return to school this fall.
There are many new changes that students will encounter this school year.
These students are looking forward to seeing their friends and working with them on new and exciting math and science projects.
We will discover new ways to concepts in science labs and discuss how science is relevant to their world. In math class, students love hands-on, engaging and challenging projects. They enjoy working together on math problem solving activities and science labs.
These students take great pride in displaying their work.
My Project
In Cleveland, the number of cases of Covid are on the rise. Students need to protect from Covid and still be able to learn in the classroom. Students enjoy working together on Math and Science project but with the increased cases of Covid, it has made it difficult to for student to work together because they must be 3 feet apart.
If we had these sneeze guard desk shields, student could have more protection against Covid and be able to work with peers on projects.
With mask and the sneeze guard desk shields, students would be able to work safely together.
