This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The college office was given a grant, which we were able to use to purchase MacBooks and iPads that the students will use during the college process. Having this technology available to my students will allow them to begin their college research, work on their college essays, and submit applications all on reliable technology!
However, the technology that was given does not include covers or cases that will protect it.
Providing cases and screen protectors to the MacBooks and iPads, as well as a charging cart, will allow these items to remain in the college office for their intended use while lasting for many years, allowing future students to take advantage of the generous grant the college office has received in order to provide more access to the college application process!
