Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As the Art Teacher at I.S 562, I teach around sixty, amazing and talented students visual arts everyday! It is essential for my students to explore the art materials we work with as they develop their fine motor skills This means I go through my supply of art materials rather quickly! With your help, I can ensure that all my students have their needs met in order to express themselves.
My Project
I am the art teacher at a Special Education middle school in Brooklyn. My students have expressed their interest in painting, and I want them to have the opportunity to paint and have their paintings dry without them getting ruined.
A drying rack is essential for making sure my students can make beautiful paintings when my students have art class.
With a proper mobile drying rack, this would help our class out tremendously!
It would mean the world to me, my students, and their families. Thank you for your generosity.
