My Project
These items would help our students to continue learning and growing the sport of pickleball in our eastern KY area. We have some equipment but due to wear and tear with sharing paddles with over 100 kids we aren't able to keep up with equipment needs. And we also do not have a budget for our PE program, so buying equipment that's not out of pocket is extremely difficult.
My goal is for our students to become more physically active with a sport that isn't expensive and keeps growing nationwide.
Students want to learn the sport because they see courts at a few of our parks and our YMCA, but many kids do not know how to play, so I'm wanting to change that with these donations.
The students at are remarkable, they are so eager to learn and are always willing to try new things, I just want them to be given the same opportunity that others get.
