Ever tried painting with watered down paint? It's a disaster! We need reliable supplies for our painting area.
This class is made up of fun-loving pre-kindergartners who enjoy painting.
These children come to school everyday and they look forward to all the special activities that we do in the classroom because unfortunately, we are the only place these children have to get art experiences. Our under privileged community is located in New York and our school is limited in funds and scarce in supplies.
My Project
If we get these painting supplies, our children will be able to make the most of their experience in the painting area. The paint would not be watered down and therefore the children's art would not be altered by dripping paint. These supplies would allow us to mix different colors and make choices in regards to what we will use and what we will make. The experience of painting really supports children developmentally, creatively, and artistically while also helping their motor skills and their self-confidence.
Getting these art supplies into our classroom will impact the lives of these children greatly.
These supplies will allow us the opportunity to offer experiences in the arts that these children might not receive any where else. It will also help to keep Art in our classroom which, is one of the most important subjects to have in an early childhood classroom. Please, help us keep PAINT in our life.
