Help Our Wolf Pack Learn Screen Printing and Fiber Arts
Help me give my students the opportunity to experience new visual art mediums. They will be learning screen printing, rubber relief stamping and fiber arts with rubber carving blocks, canvas mesh sheets, and other craft items.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at my school produce the most amazing art and at such a young age too. We are an Arts Magnet School so fine arts is important. At our elementary we build their educational foundation to be arts integrated within their scholastic classes.
I want to introduce them to art mediums they have never experienced before.
While exploring these mediums I will also teach students about various careers in the art world. To become a master of art students need to be exposed at an early age in order to build their knowledge as they continue through their education.
