My students need a Bluetooth sound system, a document camera/viewer and a remote control presenter/clicker for our classroom to enhance learning with technology.

My Students

"Are you ready Tigers?" This is what I always ask my 4th-grade reading and writing students every day. They always answer with a resounding "Yes!" as they enter Ms. Ashe's class.

My school has a high number of students who are ESOL, ELL and there are a few who are SPED and gifted.

Even though we have to cater for and adapt to such a wide range of learning needs, we know that all children will learn if given the right tools and technology (and teachers who care).

My Project

The resources I am requesting will not only assist my students in class but also serve as an enhancement as we will be using top of the line technology in our reading and writing class room. The document camera and viewer will make teaching and presenting with technology much easier as students will be able to highlight their own work in the classroom and share what they have created with the entire class. The Bluetooth system is an extra enhancement as my students will be able to connect to audio devices – like the iPhone, Smartphone, Tablet, MP3 Player, PC, etc. We would also be able to Instantly connect to the Internet and view live streamed lessons etc.

This project will make a difference as you will be giving our students access to online resources that is currently limited to them.

My students will also have more hands-on experience in my classroom as their stories and readings will come alive when they see it projected on a huge screen--thanks to your generosity.
