it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Staying properly hydrated is essential for our student-athletes to perform at their best, both physically and mentally. Dehydration can negatively impact their energy levels, focus, and safety during practice and competition. With a reliable supply of water bottles and a cooler to keep water and ice cold, our students can remain focused on learning teamwork, discipline, and perseverance without worrying about their health. Trash bags will help us ensure the team leaves the field and surrounding areas cleaner than we found them, reinforcing respect for our community.
By providing hydration and a clean, safe environment, we can promote both health and sportsmanship.
Cleaning up after ourselves will teach students accountability and care for their surroundings. When students have what they need, they can focus on working together, building friendships, and striving toward their athletic goals.
Our students are not just athletes—they are leaders in the making. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring incredible energy, determination, and a positive attitude to both the classroom and the track. Many of them see participation in sports as a way to build confidence, learn life skills, and develop a sense of belonging. Supporting them in this effort means supporting their overall growth as individuals.
