Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are scientists, technologists, athletes, engineers, and mathematicians (among many other things!). They are super curious and want to make a change in the world.
As part of this, they need to have ample exposure to the skills and materials that students in affluent neighborhoods have.
My students, for the most part, come from a neighborhood in a large city in Arizona. They aim to be scientists, technologists, and problem-solvers, tackling real-world issues. With your help, they will achieve these ambitious goals!
My Project
Our students have continuously improved their math skills, and we're so proud of them, and their journey to become college-ready.
However, some of our students don't have access to basic resources, such as calculators.
With your assistance, our students can access the resources needed to excel in math, from Algebra and Algebra II to our pre-calc students! For instance, our students will be able to more quickly solve problems, instead of having to rely on the basic calculator functionality on a smartphone or laptop.
Thank you so much for considering to support our students - I, and our students, truly appreciate your generosity!
