My Students

My art classroom is a place where children learn to love art! Throughout the year we will learn about art and artists from all over the world! I love to help my children explore their world and find their place. Our favorite saying is, "There is NO wrong answer in the art room!"

The students at my school are for a small, rural area.

While my school is amazing, we like other schools, struggle for funding, especially in the arts. Most don't have the money to learn about art outside of school. For some, my class is the place they will hold their 1st crayon, or the only place they will ever paint. Some of my students will never visit a museum in their lifetime. With your help, I can provide them the materials and the experiences they deserve.

My Project

With the purchase of new watercolors, my students will be able to enjoy painting in art class. Watercolors are so important to have; I can use them in every class, no matter the student age. Having new watercolors will allow my students to study new artists and painting techniques.

With new watercolors, my students will be able to be proud of the materials they have in their art classroom.

I want to students to have access to the same materials they would have anywhere else. I want them to know that they are cared for, and that they are afforded the same opportunities as any other child at a larger school. With your help, I can make that happen. Let's get painting!
