My Project
A classroom carpet is more than just a rug—it’s a gathering space where students come together to learn, collaborate, and build a sense of community. In our classroom, a carpet would provide a comfortable and organized place for students to sit during group lessons, read-alouds, and discussions. It would create a welcoming environment where every student has a designated spot to focus and engage in learning.
Right now, our students do not have a shared space where they can comfortably sit for group activities.
A classroom carpet would give them a structured and inviting area to participate in morning meetings, literacy circles, and hands-on learning experiences. Having a defined space helps students with organization, personal space awareness, and a sense of belonging in the classroom.
Unfortunately, high-quality classroom carpets are expensive, and many of our students’ families face financial challenges, making it difficult to provide this essential resource. That’s why we need your help! Your generous donation will allow us to purchase a durable, comfortable carpet that can support our students’ learning for years to come.
