My Project
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, my 7th-grade STEAM students are running low on essential writing tools like pencils, pens, and paper. These materials are crucial for their learning—allowing them to take notes, complete assignments, and engage in hands-on science and engineering projects. A classroom pencil sharpener will ensure that students always have a usable tool at their fingertips, eliminating unnecessary disruptions to their learning.
My goal for this project is to remove barriers caused by a lack of basic supplies so that every student can focus on deepening their understanding and creativity in STEAM.
These resources mean students can confidently tackle problem-solving tasks, collaborate on ideas, and effectively express their learning.
What makes my students special is their curiosity and drive to explore real-world science concepts. Many come from under-resourced backgrounds yet are eager to engage and innovate.
