My Students
"Are you ready to rock?!" "We're ready to roll!"
Despite the academic obstacles that lay ahead of our enthusiastic class of 5th graders, we are very optimistic that this year will be the most successful of all!
Our students are kind-spirited young boys and girls and are among the hardest working my co-teacher and I have ever had the privilege of teaching.
As first-year teachers in a Title 1 school, we are impressed that our students have set lofty goals for themselves. As of September 10, 2015, 2/3 of our students were performing below grade-level in both math and ELA (based on curriculum pre-assessment scores). My co-teacher and I know that our students are able to reach magnificent heights, and their diligence and dedication is nothing short of inspiring. We would like to help them achieve their academic goals by supplying them the seating necessary to enhance their cognitive growth and increase their time-on-task. Please help our students soar to new heights and achieve their goals this year!

My Project
Your generous donations will be used as school supplies for our students. For students to learn and succeed in the classroom, they must have access to basic supplies including pencils, paper, and crayons. We are optimistic that their ability to apply their knowledge by using these school supplies will result in increased cognitive performance. Consequently, students are bound to gain the superior math and ELA skills necessary for classroom achievement and strengthened confidence. With your help, our students will be able to achieve their dreams: entrance to dream middle schools, quality time spent with family members, and increased academic confidence and self-esteem.
Our aim is simple: our students want to learn, and we want to support them.
