We are asking for a classroom magazine to enhance our thematic units and foam cones to help us make beautiful holiday keepsakes!
Our school only funds Scholastic My Big World every other year for our classroom.
We need funding for the 2025-2026 school year. Our students are fully engaged with this non-fiction seasonally-themed magazine. It provides us with access to learning activities, games, short educational videos, and paper magazines for a real hands-on reading experience. In addition, this helps students focus on reading and improves comprehension. The themes often correlates to the weekly themes our grade level presents. The students love taking this colorful treasure home to share what they learned with their families.
The foam cones are expensive to purchase for both teachers and families. We use Mod Podge to paint tissue paper squares on the foam cone. We then decorate with jewels and top with a beautiful star. The students are astonished with the final result and proud of their artistic accomplishment.
