This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a collected group of academic explorers. They all have bright minds and are ready to take their own personal experiences and connect it to their learning.They are at the age where they are realizing just how big the world is and what exactly their place is as a young scholar. This becomes more difficult living in a city, that many have pushed aside, and labeled as a ghetto. These brilliant young learners need your help. During this unprecedented time, basic classroom resources are scarce and we are in need. These young scholars work hard to learn new skills, and they need to be in a comfortable learning environment to promote their learning.

My Project

For the past few months our students have been using the harsh brown paper towels to blow their noses. These young kiddos noses are so sore, we need real tissues. Help us save the noses of our students by providing them with soft tissues that will not irritate their skin. We are also in need of copy paper. Our students love practicing their skills at home and we need paper to keep pencils in their hands. Too often students are working on computers, so they are continuously struggling with their writing skills. Having paper to make copies for students allows them to continue to practice at home and improve their writing skills.
