Help me give my students picture symbols that are used to communicate. These materials will be printed in color and laminated for durability. These will be used by nonverbal and minimally verbal children to support their language needs.

My Students
I am a speech language pathologist. I work with several nonverbal children that use or are learning to use picture symbols to communicate. One example would be during snack time when a nonverbal child hands the teacher a picture of a goldfish cracker to communicate that is what they would like to eat. Depending on skill level, they may hand over a communication strip that has symbols that say "I want goldfish". Some additional symbols they may use are "more" and "all done".
My Project
The project supplies will be used to make communication boards and picture symbols that our nonverbal students use to communicate with their families and their teachers. In addition to being nonverbal, several students have vision challenges as well and require picture symbols that use large amounts of colored ink to make contrasting backgrounds. The materials will be created for in some in person learning and for learning to communicate with families while students are at home.
These students will use symbols to communicate basic needs and wants.
More advanced students will be able to communicate feelings, answer questions, and tell stories using these materials.
