it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

The school has a health theme and students are eager to learn how to enter the field of nursing, medicine or health professions.
Health is a focus in all content areas, therefore the students are learning about music therapy. The students have become very interested in music therapy and are eager to learn how to play instruments.
My Project
The students have been learning about different ways that music can help heal people who have emotional disorders, neurological disorders and physical disorders. I want to take what they have learned and apply it to playing instruments. The students will understand that music can be a therapy and they will learn how to play these rhythm instruments while creating therapeutic songs.
The donations to this project will improve our music therapy classroom because students will be able to perform therapeutic drum circles and discover how playing rhythms can help patients who suffer from physical, emotional and neurological disorders.
