Help me give my students a step up in their music class for real! We are in desperate need for our musical superstars to be able to rise to the occasion on risers that are safe and washable!
Our students come from a rural, farming community. Most of our students are very active and love all things outdoors like fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, and farm animals. They have very good manners and traditional values within their families. They also enjoy laughing at their teacher when she does silly things like trying to learn to milk a cow or herd a chicken back into the coop, all of which are common practice in their homes.
Our students are curious and creative and love hands-on learning in safe and nurturing environments.
We have been so lucky to have a functional school year with face-to-face learning. We appreciate all of your help with facing the challenges ahead.
My Project
These materials will help give our students the social distancing they need in music class. Currently, our students are sitting on buckets that have been donated to us. These helped us quickly establish distancing guidelines, but are not very comfortable for kids and they don't last long. We are looking for your help with a long-term solution to provide our students with comfortable and safe seating during music.
These special risers are quick and easy to adapt to any grade level and can be used as a platform for a stage or on a daily basis to meet the needs of each grade level.
Unfortunately, they are very expensive, but if you invest in this, you will help our musical superstars for many years to come. Thank you for your consideration.
